By resolutely championing empathy, creative collaboration and intentional craft, I ensure design practice leads the way in building a world that is safer, more inclusive, better educated, and empowering for all.

Following studying BA Design for Communication and achieving an MA in Information Design, I began my career as a Visual Designer at Nokia. I was enthusiastic to apply my learnings about designing for usability, whilst every day getting to learn from specialists across the broad spectrum of design and user experience.

I later moved to Microsoft, experiencing working at the cutting edge of innovative technology, where the User Experience teams were challenging perceptions and doing things had never been done before.

After a few years, I wanted to take everything I had learned about designing at scale from working with these diverse and talented global teams to a smaller, growing company, with a mission that resonated with my own. I joined Firefly Learning. This was where I discovered the potential for design to be influential throughout an entire business.

Now I lead Design at Firefly Learning. I manage a multidisciplinary team of User Research, Product Design and Product Operations, and together we build impactful products for real people the world over, and are drivers of company culture.

Read my leadership stories to learn how I have proven to have meaningful impact on individuals, on teams, and on our organisational mission.

I also mentor at Design Club, providing after-school activities to nurture empathy, collaboration and creative problem-solving.
