iOS and Android apps for teachers, students and parents, each sharing a design system
Designed from scratch
We decided to redesign and rebuild our apps from scratch to coincide with the launch of the homework setting project.
I initiated building a design system of reusable components that we could use across our separate iOS and Android apps for teachers, students and parents.
Visual style
The visual style is based on a clean, calm and neutral colour scheme so that it feels familiar to everyone, works with everyone's content, and is easy and quick to learn.
Team collaboration
I worked closely with our in-house iOS developers to turn this design system into reality.
And I produced a style guide so our design system would be self explanatory as the team grew.
