Sketch… launch… repeat

I co-designed the UX and lead the visual design of the homework setting feature on Firefly throughout most of its life cycle.

From early sketches to launch, and from making iterative improvements, to adding big features that make the whole experience much richer.

Users first

At the very beginning, I worked with a UX Designer who ran fascinating user research sessions, idea generation workshops, and produced high level wireframes.

I have run user feedback sessions since then myself, to understand our users more closely and understand what matters to them.

Collaboration with developers

These workflows need to be responsive and consistent across web, iOS and Android.

I worked closely with the developers during this period to ensure all the details made it into the code consistently: across all platforms, and for all users.

Design system

As part of this project I helped to build our Design System, which has been essential in enabling a flexible and consistent experience across Firefly.
